Upcoming Rain Barrel Workshop

ACC Stormwater is offering a rain barrel workshop on April 13th at Sandy Creek Nature Center. The Stormwater Department is now offering another rain barrel workshop to Athens-Clarke County residents on April 13th at Sandy Creek Nature Center. The Rivers Alive annual watershed clean-up is October 6th. The 2007 annual Rivers Alive clean-up is Saturday, October 6th. Hundreds of Athens residents participate in this local watershed cleanup event. Last year, over 5 tons of litter were collected from the North Oconee River! Stormwater Coloring Contest

Congratulations to the winners! Winners were picked last week for the Stormwater Coloring contest at the Athens-Clarke County Water Billing Office off of Barnett Shoals Road. Children ages 0-10 colored pictures of rain drops and their parents received information on how to help prevent stormwater pollution.
