GreenFest Environmental Celebration Coming this Spring

Coming April 2005
This April, the annual GreenFest celebration in Athens-Clarke will provide local residents with more than two dozen events throughout the month leading up to Earth Day.
GreenFest is a community wide celebration providing citizens with the opportunity to increase their awareness of and interest in improving the environment of their home, yard, business, and community.
The month-long celebration features a wide variety of activities ranging from workshops and outdoor recreation to stream monitoring and volunteer work days. Most are free to the public.
